On Saturday, March 20, 2021, Officer Ryan Collins made a traffic stop on a black Kia for traffic violations.
After further investigation Officer Collins determined that the driver, Amanda Turner, was under the influence. A search incident to arrest performed by the officer revealed suspected Methamphetamine, distribution bags, 11 white tablets marked Xanax, a digital scale, and approximately $533.00 cash in her vehicle.
Amanda Turner was arrested and lodged in the Bell County Detention charged with a failure to appear bench warrant, excessive window tint, trafficking controlled substance - 1st degree (Methamphetamine), trafficking controlled substance - 3rd degree (Xanax), and DUI 1st offense.
She was also served a criminal summons for criminal trespassing - 3rd degree and theft by unlawful taking under $500.
