Sex Charges Against A Barbourville Man Dismissed In Knox Circuit Court

As we reported on March 28, 2022, 44-year-old Enoch Donnell Huff of Barbourville, formerly of Middlesboro, was booked into the Knox County Detention Center after being charged by Kentucky State Police Trooper Kyle Trosper.


The accusations against Huff were that he engaged in sexual intercourse with a child less than 18 years of age related to him, through the use of forcible compulsion on or about Nov. 28, 2021. He was also accused of knowingly and unlawfully inducing, assisting or causing a juvenile to engage in sexual activity and illegal controlled substances.


Huff had been charged with rape - 1st degree, sodomy - 1st degree, incest, and (2) two counts of unlawful transaction with a minor - under the age of 18 - Illegal controlled substances.


In Knox Circuit Court on Tuesday August 13, 2024, under the purview of Commonwealth Attorney Jackie Steele's office, all charges were dismissed with prejudice, and there will be no trial for Enoch Huff.


A case dismissed with prejudice is over and done with, once and for all, and can't be brought back to court.
