A Pineville man recently released from Bell County Detention Center on charges of the rarely committed offense of bigamy was arrested in Knox County on Sunday January 20, 2019.
Knox County Deputy Bobby Jones responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle randomly pulling into driveways in Walker Kentucky on Highway 718.
Deputy Jones states in a citation that he observed the suspicious vehicle, a white 1984 Chevy Blazer, traveling on Trace Branch Road in Walker.
After stopping Blazer, Deputy Jones arrested 46 year old Eddie North of Pineville, Kentucky charging him with operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license, no insurance, license to be in possession, improper registration plates, no registration receipt and failure to register transfer of motor vehicle.
Eddie North was also wanted on a Bell County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fine on a DUI charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center and then transferred to the Bell County Detention Center on the $598.00 pay or stay warrant.
North was arrested by Kentucky State Police on December 2nd of last year for two charges of non-support, a pay or stay warrant, and bigamy.
He was released on December 12th on a combined cash bond of $6,500.00
