Pineville man arrested after drugs and a gun found during search warrant

We reported on June 3rd, 2021, that after a lengthy drug investigation opened by the Middlesboro drug interdiction team, a search warrant was executed 524 Chester Ave.

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, a Pineville man - 48-year-old Brandon Shae McCarty - was arrested on charges in connection with that search warrant. Evidence was found in a bedroom he was staying in at the time which was a sizable amount of Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a safe containing a 9mm handgun.

524 Chester Ave - June 3, 2021

McCarty was taken into custody by Officer Ryan Collins at 38th and Winchester Avenue in Middlesboro just after midnight on Tuesday the 6th and lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with trafficking a controlled substance - 1st degree, 1st offense (greater than 2 grams - Methamphetamine), buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
