From Appalachia Narcotics Investigations -
On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Appalachia Narcotics Investigations executed a search warrant at the Happy Hollow Apartments in Middlesboro.
Discovered during the warrant was approximately (30) thirty ounces of suspected crystal Methamphetamine, (9) nine ounces of Marijuana, two pistols, an AK47, and over $13,000 in cash.
The search warrant was a result of narcotics investigations of individuals in the Middlesboro and surrounding areas.
24-year-old Chianne Loewen of Summerville, South Carolina was arrested away from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
ANI was assisted at the scene by Middlesboro Police Department, Bell County Sheriff’s Office, Pineville Police Department, Kentucky State Police Post 10. Appalachia Narcotics Investigations is a multi-agency drug task force consisting of narcotics detectives from the Pineville Police Department, Bell County Sheriff’s Office, Harlan County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police.
