Middlesboro man found dead on another's property

On Thursday, July 15, 2021, a short time before 3pm, a homeowner discovered an unresponsive male in a Jeep Wrangler he owned on his property on the Right Fork of Pollow Hollow.


Middlesboro Police were contacted and they began a death investigation lead by Sgt. Barry Cowan who contacted Bell County Deputy Coroner Jason Steele. The Deputy Coroner declared the individual deceased and has identified the man as 26-year-old Claude Elvis Dixon II of Middlesboro.


An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, July 16th to determine the cause of death.


This investigation is ongoing under the direction of Sgt. Barry Cowan.
