On Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 7:36pm Bell County Deputy Austin Poindexter arrested a Middlesboro man for theft of a dirt bike. Deputy Poindexter was advised by Deputy Jody Risner of a possible location of the stolen property.

Deputy Poindexter, assisted by Sgt. Frank Foster, traveled to the residence on Ray Hatfield Road making contact with 60-year-old David Hall of Middlesboro. After being questioned and stating he did not know where the property was, Hall gave consent for the deputy to search the area.

The dirt bike was discovered by Sgt. Foster hidden behind a nearby rental property belonging to Hall. Tire tracks leading to the property from Hall's residence were found along with blood on the handgrip of the dirt bike. Hall was seen with a fresh cut still bleeding on his left hand.

A search incident to arrest of Hall revealed that he had a clear glass container which held a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine.

David Hall was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with receiving stolen property $1,000 - $10,000, possession of controlled substance - 1st offense (Methamphetamine), and he was served a parole violation warrant.
