Early Monday morning January 23, 2023 Middlesboro Officer Hunter Marcum arrested 26 -year-old Alvie Mills of Middlesboro on several outstanding warrants.
After being transported to the Bell County Detention Center and prior to the booking process, Mills was asked if he had anything illegal in his possession and stated he did not.
While being searched as a part of booking, Jailer Robin Venable states that Mills was found by jail staff in possession of a bag of what is believed to be Methamphetamine.
Officer Marcum then charged Mills with Promoting Contraband - 1st degree and Possession of Controlled Substance - 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine).
