On September 22, 2021 Court Security Officer James Smith arrested Loretta M Smith age 57 of Barbourville, KY on two Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on two counts of Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operators License, Failure to Produce Insurance Card and four counts of Failure to Wear Seat Belts charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On September 27, 2021 at approximately 1:30 am Deputy Jesse Smith received a complaint of people smoking meth in a vehicle at the Wildcat Market parking lot in Flat Lick. After checking the vehicle, Deputy Smith arrested Frank Hinkle age 48 of Flat Lick, KY charging him with Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 28, 2021 Court Security Officer James Smith arrested Preston L Brown age 41 of London, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for a Contempt of Court charge and two Bell County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-over $500 and a Probation Violation charge. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On September 28, 2021 Deputy Sam Mullins arrested Joshua Taylor charging him with Rape-1st Degree. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by Deputy Mullins and Deputy Elijah Broughton into the reported rape that occurred on September 21, 2021. Joshua Taylor was also wanted on a Knox County Bench for Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree. Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Fleeing or Evading Police-2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On September 29, 2021 Court Security Officer James Smith arrested Angela Siliznoff age 43 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Menacing charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 29, 2021 at approximately 7:10 am Deputy Sam Mullins received a complaint of a maroon van swerving all over the roadway and nearly hitting a school bus on KY 11 in Heidrick. The vehicle was located and stopped while still traveling on KY 11. Derek T Smith age 33 of Powell, TN was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Reckless Driving, No Insurance and Failure to Wear Seat Belts. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Barbourville Police Officer Carl Middleton assisted in the arrest.
On September 29, 2021 Court Security Officer James Smith arrested Norma Brock age 35 of Corbin, KY on two Knox County Bench Warrants for failure to pay the fines on two counts of Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On September 30, 2021 SGT Carl Smith arrested Jamie Cobb age 36 of Barbourville, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to pay the fines on Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

On October 2, 2021 Deputy Jesse Smith was dispatched to a two vehicle collision on KY 229. During the investigation Deputy Smith detected a strong order of alcohol coming from one of the drivers. Deputy Smith arrested Dwight Robinson age 27 of Barbourville, KY charging him with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
On October 3, 2021 Deputy Jesse Smith arrested George Brewer age 42 of Hinkle, KY on a Knox County Bench Warrant for failure to appear on Criminal Trespasssing-3rd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition-under $500 charges. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
