On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Middlesboro Lt. Detective Barry Cowan arrested 20-year-old Tyler Baker of Kettle Island. According to the citation, Baker is accused of causing several injuries to a 16-month-old child that included burns and bite marks.
Tyler Baker was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with Criminal Abuse - 1st degree (child 12 or under).
**All individuals with charges reported by WRIL are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
