We are following a report of an officer-involved shooting in the Rockholds community of Knox County on Hubbs Hollow Road involving a Barbourville Police Officer.
The Kentucky state Police Critical Incident Response Team responded to the incident Monday evening the February 24th a short time before 5:30pm.
While no fatalities have been confirmed, we understand the Knox County Coroner's Office was requested to the scene.
According to KSP Trooper Shane Jacobs a formal release will be issued early Tuesday morning.
Assisting on scene was the Knox County Ky Sheriff's Office, KSP Harlan Troopers, and KSP London Troopers.
