On Saturday afternoon February 6, 2021, a Cumberland, Ky. man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in regard to a serious domestic incident.
The warrant states that on Friday, January 22, 2021, 32-year-old David Milwee grabbed a woman by the throat, pressing until she couldn’t breath, then slammed the victim’s head on a wall and threw her to the floor.
Milwee is then accused of pulling out a .38 Special and putting the weapon to the woman’s head telling her he would “blow her brains out all over the floor”. The victim said that Milwee then made her open her mouth and stuck in the barrel of the gun telling her “it would be the last night she was ever going to be alive.”
Milwee fled the scene before Cumberland Police officers arrived.
Arresting officer Marion EJ Stewart took David Milwee into custody without incident and lodged him in the Harlan County Detention Center.
David Milwee is charged with strangulation – 1st degree, wanton endangerment - 1st degree, and terroristic threatening – 3rd degree. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
