On Tuesday, June 15, 2021 a Cawood Kentucky man was arrested on a complaint warrant taken out by KSP Detective Jake Middleton.
In the warrant, Detective Middleton states that from October 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020 48-year-old Marvin Cheek of Little Creek Road "unlawfully had sexual contact with (2) two juveniles under his care."
Cheek was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center charged with sexual abuse - 1st degree (victim under 12 years of age) and sexual abuse - 1st degree.
He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond. A preliminary appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 28, 2021.
