Recently the Claiborne County Tennessee Sheriff's Department reported two stolen trailers from the area. One of the two, a 2017 Forest River Salem Cruise, was recently published as being found by Knox County Ky Sheriff Mike Smith and his deputies. The other, a 2016 Jayco Bunkhouse Camper, has been recovered by Bell County Deputy Frank Foster.

On Sunday July 12, 2020 an unidentified individual stopped the deputy and reported that they believed there was a stolen camper at Dunlap Hill Loop Road that he had seen in a facebook post from the Claiborne County Sheriff's Department.

Deputy Foster traveled to the residence and located the camper, ran the tag, and confirmed it was the property reported stolen. Claiborne County Sheriff's Department was then contacted to speak to two individuals living in the unit. Upon contact with the male and female inside, identified as 27 year old Josh Goins and 31 year old Rhonda Seigler both of Middlesboro, the two stated that they had bought the camper from a man and woman around midnight on July 12th for $900.00.

While the investigation continues, Quality Towing removed the camper from the property.

Josh Goins was arrested on scene for seven outstanding bench warrants unrelated to the theft of the camper.

He was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.
