Barbourville man arrested after making multiple false incident calls to Knox County 911

On Monday, March 27, 2023, at approximately 1:40 am Knox County Deputies Jesse Smith and SGT Bobby Jones responded to a residence on Cypress Drive where a caller had made numerous calls to Knox Dispatch reporting false incidents.


After conducting an investigation, the deputies arrested 29-year-old Erick Mills of Barbourville, KY charging him with Falsely Reporting an Incident to Law Enforcement and Public Intoxication/Controlled Substance.


Erick Mills began screaming and hitting the patrol vehicle cage after being arrested. He was then charged with Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree.


Erick Mills was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
