On Sunday morning March 28, 2021 at approximately 5:30am Middlesboro Police
Lt. Josh Harris arrested a Middlesboro man at a Lower Gibson Lane residence.
According to the citation, 37-year-old Richard Gulley was taken into custody after he was accused of pouring gasoline on an out-building at the residence of William Ledford on Lower Gibson Lane. The building is behind Ledford’s residence.
Gulley is then accused of threatening to set the building on fire with William Ledford and his wife inside the structure.
Richard Gulley was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with attempted arson – 1st degree which is a Class B felony under Kentucky law.
