Citizens, I know that most of you who are staying at home to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 are taking this time to do some spring cleaning around your homes, and there are probably items that cannot be taken to the Convenience Centers. At this time, we are asking you to keep those items at your home until it is safer to go to the landfill. As we continue to keep our county running I am asking you to please be considerate of the workers at the landfill by limiting the possible exposure your presence might introduce. If our landfill employees become exposed there will be a ripple effect across our county with trash collection.
