From WRIL The Big One -
As we previously reported, on Friday December 27th, a family member of 14-year-old Kailyn Brock made a social media post about her missing and in the company of a 20-year-old man later identified as Kolton Raske. The pair had left in a black Cobalt very early that morning. A report was filed with the Middlesboro Police Department shortly afterward.
Later that same day around 8:25pm, Middlesboro Police were notified by the Campbell County Tennessee Sheriff's Office that Brock and Raske were found. Raske was taken into custody and charged with harboring or hiding a runaway child. Kailyn Brock was released to her family. Kolton Raske was later released from custody, unknown at this time what the bond amount was.
On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Middlesboro Police led by Lt./Detective Barry Cowan discovered Raske was at Hinks Heights Apartments in Middlesboro. He was taken into custody without incident a short time before noon. According to the citation, "Raske took the 14 year old to Tennessee in fear of facing trouble for having a relationship with the female."
Kolton Raske was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center charged with custodial interference and unlawful transaction with a minor - 3rd degree.
