Middlesboro Man Found Hiding In A Closet Charged With Sex Offenses in Clay County

On Friday afternoon June 28, 2024, Middlesboro Police, working off a tip, arrested a Middlesboro man on sex charges out of Clay County.

25-year-old Jordan Wagner was taken into custody by Officer Jeremiah Johnson at an Avondale residence after he was found hiding in a closet under a blanket and clothing at the home.

Wagner has been indicted on (2) two counts of sexual abuse - 1st degree and is currently being held at the Bell County Detention Center under a $100,000 cash bond.
